Description: In this hands-on introductory course, you will discover the art of floristry. Running over 6 weeks in January - February 2026, (classes from 10am-1pm once a week). Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about the world of flowers. Under Allison’s expert guidance you will learn the fundamental techniques, including how to condition and arrange flowers, use of tools and equipment, key floral designs and flower knowledge.
Over the course, you will gain insights into colour theory, design principles, sustainable techniques and lots more from a professional florist. On completing the course, you will have the knowledge, skills and confidence required to create your own stunning floral designs.
Each week you will create a different design to take home including:
Vase arrangements
Hand tied bouquets and gift-wrapping skills
Wiring techniques to create wearable designs
Dried flower wreath
Table arrangements
Statement container arrangements
All materials, tools and light refreshments are provided.

Together we will explore ways to develop your business. We will highlight strengths etc. and create a plan to help your business flourish and thrive.
So, whether you’re starting out and seek expert reassurance, or perhaps you’re an experienced florist looking for a discerning, professional sounding board, an online mentoring session is an effective springboard towards a more profitable business model.
